Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Voyage Testing (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling, purchasing, or receiving services from Voyage Testing, you agree to comply with these Terms. Voyage Testing provides mobile testing, screening, and fingerprinting services and reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

Voyage Testing schedules services through phone, email, or approved online booking systems. Clients are required to provide accurate service details, contact information, service location, and any employer or court documentation at the time of scheduling. All appointments are confirmed prior to service, and clients are responsible for verifying the date, time, and location.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Mobile dispatch fees, after-hours fees, and same-day service fees may be non-refundable once a collector has been dispatched. Late arrivals or no-shows may result in service rescheduling and the assessment of applicable fees.

Voyage Testing is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information provided during scheduling.

All donors and clients must present valid, government-issued photo identification prior to any collection, fingerprinting, or screening service. Employer-authorized services must include appropriate employer documentation or account verification.

Voyage Testing reserves the right to refuse or reschedule services if identity cannot be properly verified or if required documentation is incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate. Failure to provide proper identification may be documented as a refusal to test when applicable to regulated testing programs.

Voyage Testing maintains strict chain-of-custody procedures for all legal, DOT, and workplace testing services. All forms must be completed legibly, accurately, and in real time during the service appointment.

Specimen identification numbers, donor information, employer details, and collector signatures must match exactly across all documentation and specimen labels. Documentation errors are reviewed to determine whether they are correctable or considered fatal flaws.

Unauthorized alterations, missing signatures, or mismatched information may result in test cancellation and the need for re-collection at the client’s expense.

Voyage Testing is committed to protecting the confidentiality of all personal, employer, and testing-related information. Information collected is used solely for service delivery, regulatory compliance, documentation processing, and authorized communication.

Data is stored in secure systems with access limited to authorized personnel. Voyage Testing does not sell or distribute personal information for marketing or non-service-related purposes.

Information may be disclosed to laboratories, Medical Review Officers, employers, regulatory agencies, or legal authorities only as required to complete services or comply with applicable laws.

For DOT-regulated testing, Voyage Testing follows all federal guidelines related to observed collections, shy bladder procedures, refusals to test, temperature verification, specimen handling, and communication with Designated Employer Representatives and Medical Review Officers.

Collectors are trained to document all actions clearly and accurately to ensure regulatory compliance and defensible testing outcomes. Any refusal to test or non-compliance scenario is documented and reported in accordance with DOT requirements.

Voyage Testing conducts all specimen collections using standardized, industry-approved methods. Urine collections include donor instruction, privacy safeguards, specimen volume verification, temperature checks, bottle sealing in the donor’s presence, and donor initials on security seals. Hair collections are performed using accepted cutting and packaging methods to preserve sample integrity and maintain chain-of-custody.

DNA collections are conducted using approved collection kits and identification verification processes, with additional documentation required for court-admissible testing.

Mobile services are provided at workplaces, residences, and approved private or public locations. Clients are responsible for providing a safe, private, and appropriate environment for testing.

Collectors may refuse to perform services if conditions are unsafe, disruptive, or do not meet privacy and compliance standards. Voyage Testing is not responsible for delays caused by site access issues, environmental conditions, third-party restrictions, or failure of the client to provide a suitable location.

Documentation errors are evaluated to determine whether they are correctable or considered fatal flaws under applicable regulatory or laboratory standards.

Correctable errors must be resolved using approved documentation methods and properly noted on all affected records.

Fatal flaws, including missing donor signatures, mismatched specimen identification numbers, or unauthorized corrections, may result in test cancellation and the requirement for re-collection at the client’s expense.

Estimated turnaround times are provided for general reference only and are not guaranteed. Results are released only after laboratory quality assurance review and regulatory verification, when applicable. Delays may occur due to laboratory processing, shipping carriers, holidays, weather conditions, or regulatory requirements.

Results are released only to authorized parties in accordance with privacy laws and employer or court authorization. Voyage Testing does not control laboratory processing timelines or decisions.

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior written arrangements have been made. Mobile service fees, administrative fees, same-day service fees, and after-hours fees may be non-refundable once service has been initiated or a collector has been dispatched. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be denied for completed or partially completed services, missed appointments, or services rendered according to scheduling agreements.

Clients are responsible for any additional costs associated with re-collections due to client error or non-compliance.

Any refusal to provide a specimen, comply with identification requirements, or follow collection procedures will be documented and reported to the appropriate employer, Designated Employer Representative, or regulatory authority when applicable.

Voyage Testing reserves the right to terminate services in cases of non-compliance, disruptive behavior, unsafe conditions, suspected tampering, or violation of policies. Such terminations may be reported as refusals to test when required by governing regulations.

Voyage Testing partners with accredited laboratories and screening providers to perform analysis and reporting. While we ensure proper collection and handling procedures, we are not responsible for laboratory determinations, results interpretation, or decisions made by third-party agencies based on those results. Clients are responsible for confirming specific requirements with courts, employers, licensing boards, or regulatory agencies prior to testing.

California residents may submit verifiable requests regarding their personal data by contacting us directly. We will verify the identity of the requesting party before responding and will comply with applicable legal timelines. Certain information may be retained as required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, completion of transactions, or defense of legal claims.

Voyage Testing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, delays beyond our control, laboratory processing issues, third-party actions, or client failure to meet requirements. Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within California unless otherwise required by law.
